Peter Dunleavy
Controller
Peter Dunleavy has more than 25 years of finance, accounting and administration experience, in publicly traded, privately held and not for profit corporations, encompassing a wide variety of industries — including manufacturing (heavy equipment, high tech to frozen pizzas), newspaper publishing (60+ local newspapers), medical practice management and nonprofit companies. Peter currently serves as Principal Accounting Officer for Q2Earth, Inc. (OTCQB: QPWR), responsible for all of the accounting and reporting functions as well as collaboration with the CEO for SEC reporting.
Prior to Q2Earth, Peter served as Controller of Ohio Advanced Energy Economy and Ohio Advanced Energy Economy Institute, where he managed the accounting and financial reporting functions for both entities. Peter served as Vice President of Finance of ECDI, a regional economic development organization, where he led the finance, accounting, administration, and facilities functions. In addition, he was responsible for all internal, board and external reporting, to funders, stakeholders and tax reporting entities. He also served as Controller of TechColumbus, a regional economic development group with 7 distinct reporting entities, where he managed the finance and accounting functions. Additionally, he was responsible for all internal, board and external reporting to tax entities. Prior to TechColumbus Peter served as Division Controller, IT and HR Manager for Vaisala, Inc. a global manufacturer of hi-tech measurement equipment, he managed all of the divisions accounting, finance, IT and HR functions, while supporting those functions at national and global levels.
In addition to these, Peter has served as Controller for Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute, ASP Westward LP, Richelieu Foods and Columbus Jack Corp, also as an accountant for The Ohio State University Endowment Fund.
Peter earned a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance from The Ohio State University and served in the United States Air Force as an Electronic Countermeasures specialist.
