Mary Beth Atchison, CPA has over 25 years of experience as an accounting professional. She is an Insightful and focused manager with broad expertise across accounting functions. Logical problem-solver, measuring input and analyzing metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and aligning goals. Lead and mentor teams, ensuring a strong knowledge base, and developing effective employees.

Before becoming a member of the Book+Street team, she worked for various industries including manufacturing, HVAC, restaurant industry, and medical research. Her most recent position was a controller where she was responsible for both the accounting and finance team as well as the HR department.

Her diverse background includes all aspects of accounting including general ledger, sales, and use tax, GAAP, fixed assets, payroll and related taxes, ERP implementation, and escheatment. She has a proven track record for writing policies and procedures for small companies.

Mary Beth earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Accounting from Franklin University. She is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and volunteers with NAMI and the Columbus Metro Parks. She is a board member for the community where she resides.
